Hospital prescribing

How we support hospital clinicians to improve management of infections and optimise antibiotic use.

We have recently moved to reviewing our guidance every three years rather than every two in line with with practice in most NHS boards. Some of out guidance which was due for review in late 2018 or early 2019 is therefore still current and will be updated in due course to comply with a three year review period. This includes guidance on Gentamicin and Vancomycin, Staph aureus bacteraemia and neutropenic sepsis.
